Tell us about your background. How did you end up at tPX?
I was a client of tPX more than ten years ago, and, in a testament to how life can come full circle—having carried out a mix of in-house and consulting roles in the interim—I am thrilled to now join the team here.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Making connections and building relationships with a diverse group of people— both tPX team members and clients.
thinkPARALLAX’s purpose is to inspire fresh perspectives on sustainable business transformation. What perspective do you bring to tPX, our clients, and/or our industry?
I have had a multitude of work and travel experiences over the years. From waitressing to strategy, and from China to Ireland, I have picked up a few ideas, inspirations, and observations along the way.
Most recently, I was based in Europe working with clients who are preparing for or undergoing change and transformation, so I have been working with some early adopters of innovation and change around sustainability. I’m excited to bring those insights to my new clients at thinkPARALLAX.
What’s a project you’ve worked on (at tPX or a previous role) that you really enjoyed or that felt really meaningful?
In a previous role, I built out the sustainability strategy and reporting function of a large organization, from scratch. I showed the leadership team the opportunities that could be unlocked with a sustainability strategy. That company went on to become a sustainability leader in their field, something I am still really proud of today.
What causes are you most interested in?
I have a family member with additional needs and, as a result, have engaged with social impact causes since a young age. Most recently, I was a board member for a nonprofit that served more than 1,500 children and adults with additional needs. I was privileged to learn from a diverse range of fellow board members and to serve an organization that had such a tangible social impact.
What brings you joy outside of work?
I love adventures and exploration—I am continuing that in my adopted home of North Carolina with my family by exploring everything this state has to offer.
