thinkPARALLAX hosts Hang Ten Hangout for industry leaders
A beachside gathering of sustainability leaders, surf lessons, and meaningful conversations on driving sustainable business transformation.
thinkPARALLAX recently hosted our Hang Ten Hangout event at South Mission Beach in San Diego, bringing together sustainability professionals for an opportunity to connect, network, and enjoy the sand and surf.
At thinkPARALLAX, our mission is to guide companies on their sustainability journey, whether they’re just getting started or looking to accelerate their efforts. With the Sustainable Brands conference taking place down the road from our office in Encinitas, we wanted to create a space where industry leaders could come together, exchange ideas, gain fresh inspiration — and catch a wave or two.
This Perspectives event featured live music from Coyo, tacos from Cali Tacos, and the unique opportunity to learn to surf under the tutelage of our CEO, Jonathan Hanwit, along with other members of our Southern California team. The lesson kicked off with a quick demonstration on the sand, showing everyone how to pop up on their boards. Then, it was straight into the water for an exhilarating hour and a half of practice. Attendees from leading brands like Alaska Airlines, Procter & Gamble, and Meta found the relaxed beachside setting ideal for candid conversations about how we can collaborate to create more sustainable businesses.
